I am telecommuting to a university and need to access a shared drive there. I am using a wireless home connection, and am logged into the VPN connection, but when I try to map the drive I get this error message: "The drive could not be mapped because no network was found."|||Should work the same except that you need to provide the fully qualified domain name like \\machinename.domain.uni.edu\...
If it still isn't working you should contact you're school's networking department, they may have the ports closed off to do that kind of thing from a VPN connection.
