Has anyone tried the NBA League Pass International subscription using a VPN in the US?

I live in the US and have a VPN subscription with servers in the UK. I'm sick of game blackouts and I don't have cable. I know they're saying they don't support the use of VPN but that does not mean it won't work. Thanks.|||no
