What kind of bittorrent client that have VPN connector?

Is there any way to set BitTorrent Client up so that if you lose connection to the VPN client that it will stop downloading and not continue downloading through the default internet connection?|||If you can access the torrent site without the VPN why would you use a VPN and add the overhead to the connection?
